The Washington Redskins went into Philadelphia and defeated the Eagles in Week 16, winning by a score of 27-20.
The Eagles jumped out to an early 7-0 lead when rookie quarterback Nick Foles hit Jeremy Maclin on a 27-yard touchdown pass.
But the lead didn't last long, as Robert Griffin III and his offense chipped away in the second quarter and went into halftime with a 13-10 lead.
Foles finished the game with 345 yards passing and one touchdown, but he also threw an interception and lost a fumble.
Maclin had a monster game in defeat, catching eight passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Griffin only passed for 198 yards in the game, but he threw two touchdowns and only one interception, and the Redskins won the turnover battle as well as the game.
Rookie running back Alfred Morris rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown, upping his seasonal touchdown total to 10.
The Redskins head into Week 17 with a 9-6 record and a chance to win the NFC East if they defeat the Dallas Cowboys at home, while the Eagles fell to 4-11 and will travel to face the New York Giants next Sunday.
