Deng Plays Through Injury in Bulls' Loss

ATLANTA — After suffering a left-shoulder injury in Friday night’s Bulls win over New York, Luol Deng almost didn’t play in Saturday’s loss to the Hawks, according to a person familiar with the situation.
However, Deng gutted it out and while he didn’t have the most impactful game — none of the Bulls did in the blowout defeat — he claimed afterwards that the ailment wasn’t painful enough to prevent him from suiting up.
