Washington Redskins star rookie Robert Griffin III started Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Griffin, who missed last week's game against the Cleveland Browns due to a sprained right knee, was cleared to play by Redskins doctors on Saturday, league sources told ESPN.
