BOBBY PETRINO AND THE FOOTBALL COACHES OF THE SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE

Is it just me or does it seem like coach Bobby Petrino of Arkansas did less with more last season than any coach in the SEC?
It's not like his players had all become rookies again.
I mean, coach Houston Nutt had most of the same guys taking other conference powerhouses to the wire last season. I routinely watched Petrino's coaches show just to see what he had to say about the games and it seemed to be one finger-point after another.
He literally put the blame for every screw-up directly on the individual players involved in the foul play.
It was always their fault and never the coaches. And the few times he didn't level the kids, the coach was blaming the refs. Whenever asked by the commentator for some insight on the call he would always reply with something to the effect of, "I don't know."
Well, isn't he the one who is supposed to figure it out?
I don't think he will stay long at Arkansas. His heart, mind, and soul just don't seem to be in whatever he is attempting to do. The man just seems to be elsewhere.
The thing that really sold that to me was what he wore during the taping of the show. It was an old shirt that looked like he got it from the rag-bag just before air time. No Arkansas colors or insignia. Nothing.
He just seems to be somewhere else, and that's probably where he'll be in another year or two. Somewhere else.
