It's been a rough going for both Liverpool and Fulham this season which means a victory would be a big lift for the winning side just before Christmas.
The Cottagers have just one road win all season and find themselves just below their Dec. 22 opponent in the English Premier League table.
Liverpool will be hoping that the return of Jose Enrique and the embarrassment of the home loss to Aston Villa will be enough to keep its opponent's road record to one.
Thirteenth ranked Fulham does have more goals scored than the Reds this season with 28 but have also conceded the most of the two teams with 29. Liverpool sits with a zero goal differential with 23 for and against so far this season.
Winning this contest by two goals would move Fulham ahead of Liverpool in the EPL table, but a loss or draw keeps the former stuck below the Reds through Christmas day.
What the Cottagers can hang their hats on heading into this game, though, is manager Martin Jol leading the team to victory the last two times these clubs have met. The most recent meeting happened back on May 1 when Fulham took home a victory at Anfield.
The team will have to keep that winning streak against Liverpool alive without midfielder Steven Sidwell, however. He has been suspended due to receiving five bookings on the year.
Both teams are going to be pulling out all the stops to get a much-needed victory in this one, and here's the information you need to catch it on television or online.
