The New Orleans Saints "Bountygate" scandal has been the talk of the NFL for the majority of the 2012 season. Much of the debate surrounding the scandal has involved the authority of commissioner Roger Goodell. There seems to be even more questions about Goodell's authority in the wake of former commissioner Paul Tagliabue vacating all player discipline.
