Miami Marlins Sign Placido Polanco to Play Third Base

It’s not their most ideal option but the Miami Marlins hope they have found a third baseman this year in veteran Placido Polanco.

Polanco signed a one-year contract today, the team announced. The deal is worth $2.75 million, pending completion of his physical, according to the Miami Herald.
