MIAMI -- Timberwolves players were talking about the need to be more physical after a 103-92 loss Tuesday night, Dec. 18, to the Miami Heat, even though they walked out of American Airlines Arena with an impressive advantage in three key categories.
The Wolves outrebounded the defending NBA champions 52-24, had 22 more points in the lane and 2got 9 more second-chance points.
Those numbers suggest the Wolves were pretty physical with the talented Heat, but they didn't show how LeBron James, Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier were able to get free most of the game to launch three-pointers or score in transition...
