The St. Louis Rams may not be in the playoffs, but their first season under new head coach Jeff Fisher has to be considered a success. After winning only two games in 2011, the Rams are back to being competitive and able to play with the best teams in the league, as evidenced in their Week 13 win over the 49ers (along with taking them to a tie game a few weeks earlier...) and big Week 4 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
Now comes the hard part: Building on this success and taking the next step, which in the Rams' case would mean becoming a more consistent team on both sides of the ball.
Matt Miller and I rounded up a bunch of football fans, gave them hats and B/R swag, then headed over to Highland Park here in New York City and tried to figure out where the Rams have the most pressing needs heading into the 2013 NFL draft.
