The Most Exciting Premier League Transfer Rumors That May Come True in January

Dan Levy@danlevythinksNational Lead WriterDecember 19, 2012

There are a lot—a lot—of rumors floating around right now in the world of club football. For my money, I wouldn't bet on any of them.

Rumor has it Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving Real Madrid in January to start a new team on the moon. Imagine the dip on those free kicks in outer space!

In all seriousness, there are a lot of rumors that will be true, and some of the more logical ones do include big stars from the world's most powerful clubs.

Will Robinho and Pato be leaving AC Milan, and more importantly for EPL fans, does that open the door for Mario Balotelli to leave Manchester City? Will Klaas-Jan Huntelaar be heading to England? Will Daniel Sturridge be staying in London when he leaves Chelsea or moving to Liverpool?

And speaking of Liverpool, with Merseyside foes Everton be sellers, buyers or both during the January window? Is Marouane Fellaini going to stay at Everton to be a centerpiece that includes Nani, Joleon Lescott and maybe even Landon Donovan coming to Goodison Park, or will Fellaini be moving on to Stamford Bridge?

Could all of these happen? The answer is yes, or no. These are just the tip of the iceberg and the calendar hasn't even turned to January. It's going to be a fun transfer window, for sure.
