Jets' Tim Tebow and Actress Camilla Belle Reportedly Break Up
There has been a great upheaval surrounding Tim Tebow. For once, it has nothing to do with possible trade demands or who is starting under center for the NY Jets.
US Weekly reports the couple who have been dating for a couple months have reportedly split.
After less than two months of dating, the New York Jets quarterback and actress Camilla Belle have called it quits, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively...Explains the source of Tebow, 25, and Belle, 26: "It just didn't work out."
At the end of October, TMZ spotted the Jets' backup quarterback and the 26-year-old actress—who featured in Push—at Latitude 30 in Jacksonville where they bowled and were reportedly "holding hands and touching."
Two months later, the two split as many couples are known to do.
While this is hardly tremendous news, it's just one item of change for one of the most popular NFL players, and one that very well may be on the way out in New York.
Mark Sanchez is being benched, and it's Greg McIlroy, not the supposed No. 2 on the depth chart Tim Tebow, who will get the next start.
Just a day after the announcement, there were reports (like this one from The NY Daily News) that Tebow very well may demand a trade:
The Daily News has learned that Tebow, who captivated the NFL last season with his miracle playoff run in Denver, will request to be traded or released after the season assuming that McElroy starts the final two games.
On the field, Tebow is getting sparse use at the quarterback position and may be thinking his time is at a close in the Big Apple.
As the US Weekly report reminds us, as if any of you need reminding, Tebow is a devout Christian who is determined to remain a virgin until marriage.
With such tumult in his day job, you have to think it would be hard for him to devote time to a relationship at this point.
Tebow is a single man. World, you can proceed to freak out.
