Mark Sanchez's Failure Spawns Hilarious #QBsBetterThanSanchez Twitter Hashtag
It was dump on Mark Sanchez day all across Twitter, as a harsh hashtag quickly escalated into complete and utter comedy.
For those uninitiated, the New York Jets have been eliminated from playoff contention. That fact is a rather dry take on what has been a very bizarre season for Gang Green.
The Jets have stumbled and bumbled their way to a 6-8 record, managing to record one of the funniest fumbles in history, a butt fumble that may haunt Mark Sanchez for eternity.
The season wrapped up early for the Jets in a Monday night game against the Titans. The loss was further sullied by four interceptions tossed by the man once affectionately referred to as the Sanchize.
When your latest loss is a national television affair, the backlash is bound to be severe. There was this video of an irate Jets fan attempting and failing to rip and burn his Sanchez jersey, and then there was the successful thrashing given on Twitter.

Pretty much everyone agreed the little kid from the Play 60 commercial would trump Mark Sanchez under center.
