Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz said today he never considered benching quarterback Matthew Stafford during his worst game of the season.

Stafford threw three interceptions — two of which were returned for touchdowns — and posted his lowest passer rating (37.6) since his rookie season in Sunday’s 38-10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
