The New Orleans Saints aren't done just yet. After starting the season 0-4, they managed to climb back into the playoff hunt until a three game losing streak reminded them that 2012 might be a year to forget.
But when all hope was lost, I found a way that the Saints can climb back into the hunt and loyal Who Dats aren't going to like it.
It begins with them. They have two games to play and MUST win them both or this entire equation is less useful than a front row ticket to watch the Astros play the Mariners.
So before we begin, make sure you aren't operating heavy machinery as you will undoubtedly injure someone. So be careful and read at your own risk.
2.) Washington Redskins win out and claim the NFC East.
3.) Chicago Bears must lose their last two games. And this is where this becomes a bit of a stretch. They play Arizona and Detroit on the road. The fact that both games are on the road is the only thing I can think of that gives either of those teams a tiny advantage.
4.) New York Giants lose their final two games as well. Philadelphia goes into New York next weekend and would have to pull off a stunner. The last game is in Baltimore, who is also playing for a playoff spot, and is more believable than the Eagles upset.
5.) Minnesota Vikings have to lose out. This is getting a bit ridiculous, agreed?
It isn't impossible, just highly improbable.
Who Dats unite. Keep the Faith. Eat some gumbo. And make sure you get ready because the next two weeks are going to be a wild ride.
