The Shield has shown they are a long-term force in the WWE following their match with Team Hell No and Ryback at TLC.

The very physical match left no doubt that the three men from NXT were here to change the face of WWE.

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, collectively known as The Shield, burst onto the main WWE scene at Survivor Series. They brutally beat down Ryback during his Triple Threat Match against John Cena and WWE Champion CM Punk.

Claiming to be a shield against injustice, the three continued to hand out beatings. Ryback again felt their wrath, as did Kane, Cena and Randy Orton.

At the TLC pay-per-view, the three men showed they could do more than hit people from behind in sneak attacks.

The match at TLC started in favor of Team Hell No and Ryback. Daniel Bryan took the fight to Rollins, while Ryback controlled Ambrose. Kane took the early lead on Reigns.

But soon enough, the tide began to turn, and The Shield began to shine. Reigns turned aggressor on Ryback, who was then triple-powerbombed through a table.

Eventually, Reigns scored the pin on Bryan after he too was put through a table.

The Shield did exactly what they needed to do at TLC. They faced the onslaught of two former world champions and a former Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.

The trio of men took several huge bumps, including Rollins, who fell from a ladder and went through several tables.

The Shield put themselves on the map by winning their bout, proving they are more than just thugs, but actual wrestlers.

Now that The Shield has survived their first bout inside the ring, there should be no limit to what they can do.
