Syracuse Mum About Michael Carter-Williams' Alleged Shoplifting Incident

Following an 85-61 win over Canisius on Saturday, members of the Syracuse basketball team provided few details of an alleged shoplifting case involving Michael Carter-Williams. The sophomore point guard was seen placing a bathrobe and a pair of gloves into his backpack at a local Lord & Taylor department store in the Destiny USA mall on Dec. 9, two sources told the Syracuse Post-Standard. Carter-Williams signed a store form acknowledging the theft and paid a $500 fine, the Post-Standard reported. Lord & Taylor declined to press charges.
