LAWRENCE -- In some ways, Chris Martin is just the type of football recruit that Charlie Weis wants at Kansas. Martin, a former five-star defensive end recruit from Aurora, Colo., has spent the first couple of years of his college career on the move. From a start at California, to a year at Florida, to a short stint at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, Texas, to a final stop this season at the City College of San Francisco.
Even better, Martin originally committed to Notre Dame in 2008, when Weis was still coaching the Irish.
