INDIANAPOLIS - On the weekend of his 21st birthday, Notre Dame guard Eric Atkins made sure he received a final one-size-fits all present - a seventh-consecutive Irish victory.
Notre Dame jumped on Purdue on both ends to start the second half and led by as many as 23 points before holding off a late rally for an 81-68 victory in the second-annual Close the Gap Crossroads Classic at Conseco Fieldhouse.
