With the 2012 edition of WWE’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 16, the excitement over the secondary show is through the roof.

The WWE has done a great job building to a show that doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of the WrestleMania 29 plans.

Despite this normally being a throwaway show that WWE ignores, the company has been forced to care because of Punk’s injury. From the main event to the midcard, this is one of the most complete cards all year for the WWE.

Better late than never.

Potential Spoilers

Mark Henry Returning at TLC?

While there has been speculation that Mark Henry had been healthy enough to return for weeks, the lack of an appearance has many members of the WWE Universe uncertain about when he will finally make his triumphant in-ring return.

With local media outlets teasing Henry’s appearance at the TLC show, there is a good chance that the WWE re-debuts the world’s strongest man in Brooklyn Sunday.

Which Match Will be the Main Event?

While the match featuring John Cena and Dolph Ziggler should be the main event—especially if the WWE is dead-set on making Ziggler a top star—the odds are that it will be the six-man tag match featuring The Shield versus Team Hell No and Ryback is the safe bet.

This is the only other acceptable way for the WWE to book this PPV, and the fact that Cena isn’t in the main event proves that he will not be walking away victorious. That’s a good thing for Ziggler fans.

Main-Event Prediction

As much as it should be Dolph Ziggler going over John Cena in the main event, the WWE will go with The Shield squaring off with Team Hell No and Ryback to close out the TLC PPV.

With so much on the line already for this young faction, the company will not look to ruin their momentum and the WWE Universe should be ready to watch The Shield win on Sunday.

Look for Daniel Bryan or Kane to take the pin, allowing Ryback to lose and continue to look indestructible in spite of yet another PPV loss.

Ryback can look strong no matter what the finish to the match is, but the WWE must get the young trio of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns over now by allowing them to beat three of the crowd’s favorites.

Prediction: The Shield beats Team Hell No and Ryback
