If there was one NHL star who would appreciate getting the cosmonaut treatment, it would have to be Philadelphia Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov

Yahoo! Sports spotted this video of Bryzgalov pretending to prepare for space travel, which is nearly as good as him talking about space.

It was just last year when he delved into space and all the wonders that boggled his mind in one of the more memorable performances on HBO's run-up to the Winter Classic in its 24/7 series

What a difference a year makes.

The NHL is still locked out and now the 32-year-old has gotten far more hands-on in his favorite subject.

According to the report, he was able to train just like an actual cosmonaut would during his recent trip to the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.

He then met with Valery Tokarev, someone who walked twice in space, and put on a space suit of his own—with quite the smile.

At the five-minute mark, he makes a reference I feel every fan will recognize, cutting through all the inexplicable Russian.

The report does translate the hockey star, who had this to offer: "I'm interested in space and I did learn a little bit, but more by the stars—as infancy universe, how it all happened."

Sounds good.
