NCAA Basketball Top 25 Straw Poll: Week 7

    With Indiana's loss to Butler, Duke became the undisputed No. 1 team this week. The Blue Devils are still undefeated and have three wins over top five teams.

    Meanwhile, Arizona cracked the top five for the first time this season with its thrilling win over Florida on Saturday night.

    The Tar Heels next game will be against the struggling Texas Longhorns.

    Butler cracked the Top 25 this week with a stunning win over Indiana in overtime. The Bulldogs erased a seven-point deficit in the second half and a four-point disadvantage in the extra period to win on Alex Barlow's layup with 2.5 seconds remaining.

    The Bulldogs will return home on Saturday for the first time since December 5th to face 6-4 Evansville.

    On Monday, Notre Dame starts a relatively easy home stretch with a game against IPFW.

    After playing Detroit on Monday, the Orange will face Temple at Madison Square Garden on Saturday at noon.

2. Michigan Wolverines

    Michigan defeated West Virginia at the Barclays Center on Saturday to improve to 11-0. Sophomore Trey Burke put together the best overall performance of his career with 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting, five rebounds, eight assists, three steals and zero turnovers.

    The Wolverines finish off their non-conference competition with homes games against Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan before starting Big Ten play against Northwestern on January 3rd.
