Capital One Cup Quarterfinal, Elland Road

Leeds 1-5 Chelsea

Chelsea travelled North just days after landing home from Japan to secure an exquisite 5-1 victory over Championship side Leeds.

The home team started on all cylinders and took the lead through Luciano Becchio after David Luiz made a fatal mistake.

With a 1-0 lead at half time, Neil Warnock will have been delighted with his troops, but the following 45 were very forgettable for the home faithful.

Five goals, starting with a Juan Mata shot from 20 yards and culminating with a tap-in from Fernando Torres, saw the visitors home and dry with time to spare.

Chelsea drew Swansea for the semifinal, Aston Villa drew Bradford.
