The Washington Nationals enter the 2009 season with a young, revamped lineup. The Nationals will lean on third baseman Ryan Zimmerman for power, and will have to turn to Lastings Milledge or Nick Johnson to do the rest. Scott Olsen, acquired from Florida, will have to carry the pitching load.

Keep An Eye On: John Lannan, SP

John Lannan started 31 games last year for Washington. It was his rookie year. He had a 9-15 record with a 3.91 ERA—not such a bad ERA. He struck out 117 batters. Lannan will be a big key in the 2009 rotation.
