Tim Tebow Will Be Active vs. Titans, but Wildcat Not Part of Plan

Rex Ryan continues to have to justify his decision to keep Tim Tebow as his backup quarterback even while he isn’t healthy enough to run the wildcat. Tebow, who fractured two ribs in Week 10 against the Seahawks, again will be active but not available as a personal punt protector or wildcat QB. In making this decision, Ryan opens himself up to the question: Is an injured, pocket passing Tebow preferable to a healthy Greg McElroy? In a word, yes.
