Scottie Pippen and his lovely wife Larsa may be getting the reality TV series treatment with a docuseries that will show everyone how good they have it.
Seriously, that's how it is being described.
The Hollywood Reporter dives into some of the prospective programming on the WE Network, including a show that may win the award for best title in history: Big Pippen.
From the name alone, you can bet that I will tune in just long enough to witness the title sequence, which had better feature the musical stylings of Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin'."
Of course, when it doesn't, I will go back to watching SportsCenter for the third time that day.
If you want to know more details about what the show will feature, the report solves that mystery.
Big Pippen, from Left Right Productions, revolves around Chicago power couple Larsa and Scottie Pippen. From private jets to designer digs, diamond rings and six NBA championships, the Pippens live a truly charmed life. Add in her overbearing family and his clan from Arkansas, and this duo is living life Big Pippen style.
So, it's essentially Lifestyles of the Rich and...Pippen.
Like other reality TV shows, this one mandates that you care a little less about your own life to tune into a show about someone else's.
The man who made quite a legacy from being Robin to Michael Jordan's Batman may play second fiddle in this series as well.
The report issues that this is just one of a few docuseries which follow, "women who are juggling it all just like the rest of us but have what I call a 'built-in entertainment factor,'" according to WE senior VP, Lauren Gellert.
Another show will feature Cyndi Lauper, while another will be entitled Shoe Whores, so it remains to be seen how much Scottie we will get with our Big Pippen.
The report issues the show is vying for a place on the network's 2013-2014 schedule. Fingers crossed that we get to see more lavish lifestyles from the comfort of our couch.
