Houston Rockets Deliver Deplorable Rendition of Dreidel Song

Gabe ZaldivarPop Culture Lead WriterDecember 20, 2016

The Houston Rockets had a bit of difficulty with the famous Hanukkah song "I Have a Little Dreidel."

As with anything at the Daily Swag, we are so very glad they did.

Loud, lazy and lousy singing translates so well during this brief video for holiday enjoyment.

A tip of the hat to Hot Clicks for finding a video that would make any dreidel out there fall over from sheer depression.

It all starts with Jeremy Lin being completely stunned by the words he is being forced to read. It seems the toughest of these magical words is "play," because he nearly stops singing right when he gets to it.

And it's all downhill from there.

If there is anything useful about this video, it's that it comes complete with the lyrics so you can remind yourself how to sing the ditty. But please do so with a little more feeling than this team.

Big props to Carlos Delfino, who gets up for the song and delivers his bit with passion, and to James Harden, who somehow got off easy and did not appear.

Keep the songs coming, Rockets. Your awfulness will surely lead to more instant classics around the web.
