This Saturday night, one of the heavyweight division’s hardest hitters will square off with one of the weight class’s most promising prospects. Roy “Big Country” Nelson will bring his hammer overhand right into the Octagon against former NFL player turned mixed martial artist Matt Mitrione in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale from The Joint in Las Vegas Nev.

The bout will either allow Nelson to continue his climb towards title contention or solidify Mitrione’s place amongst the elite in the heavyweight division.

This past weekend in Seattle, Bleacher Report caught up with former two-time heavyweight champion Frank Mir to get his break down on the upcoming heavyweight tilt.
