It's been a rough season so far for the Los Angeles Lakers.

It got even worse on Tuesday night when they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 100-94.

Cleveland got off to a 54-39 lead at the half. Three different Cavaliers players—C.J. Miles, Kyrie Irving and Anderson Varejao—had already scored in double digits.

Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant seemed to be the only player who showed up for the Lakers in the first half, as both Dwight Howard and Metta World Peace struggled from the floor.

The Lakers surged back in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Cavaliers picked up their fifth win of the season.

Los Angeles committed 18 turnovers in the game and shot 41 percent from the floor, while Howard shot 3-of-9 from the field and 13-of-22 from the free-throw line.

Four different Cavaliers players scored in double digits and three scored 20 points or more.

Player of the Game: Kyrie Irving, PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Kyrie Irving didn't waste much time getting into a groove coming back from injury. The second-year star posted 28 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and one steal while going 11-of-21 from the floor.

Up Next for Lakers

Los Angeles visits the New York Knicks on Thursday. The Knicks have gotten off to a red-hot start behind Carmelo Anthony.

Up Next for Cavaliers

Cleveland visits the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. The Pacers are 10-11 this season and have struggled to put the ball in the hoop with Danny Granger out.
