David Wilson went nuts on the New Orleans Saints Sunday, and EA Sports justly rewarded him with a four-point boost in his overall Madden 13 ratings.
Wilson found the end zone three times and generated 327 yards of total offense. That performance brought him up from 72 to 76. If he continues to play at this level, you can look forward to Wilson's rating rising through the final three weeks of the regular season.
Wilson wasn't the only player that earned a noticeable ratings boost.
Another player that will make a ratings splash is Marshawn Lynch. The Seattle Seahawks' RB feasted on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14, going for 128 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries in the 58-0 rout.
That is a ridiculous 11.6 yards per carry. Those are Madden numbers—but this came in real life, against a real NFL team (insert Cardinals joke here).
This performance sent Lynch's rating from 94 to 96. I'm not trying to take anything away from Lynch, but the Cardinals looked so bad that the entire team should have their overall ratings dropped.
The offense and defense simply didn't show up.
Lynch is a beast we know, but I'm not sure any Seahawks should have their ratings bumped up after that game.
The full ratings updates will be revealed on Thursday at EA Sports' official site. Stay tuned for information on that.
In the meantime, adjust your virtual depth charts accordingly.
