Alex Rodriguez sure looked like he was done as a major league ballplayer during the 2012 postseason.
Not only did New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi send a pinch-hitter for A-Rod in crucial late-inning situations, but he eventually took Rodriguez out of the lineup altogether.
