With just a few days until WWE’s 2012 Tables, Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view, the excitement over what should be a throw-away show is through the roof.

There is genuine excitement around TLC, and the card is much better than anyone in the WWE Universe expected.

WWE has done an excellent job building the midcard, and despite the knee surgery to champion CM Punk, this PPV is setting up for major success.

Breaking Down John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler

While many members of the WWE Universe feel Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler has been getting ‘buried’ by losing to John Cena on Raw, those losses were setting the stage for what will be a monumental PPV win for Ziggler.

The Money in the Bank briefcase may not be a championship, but beating Cena for a guaranteed championship opportunity is a great way to get the young star over even more than he already is.

Cena beat Ziggler on Raw to not only even the playing field when Ziggler ultimately goes over at TLC, but make this eventual ladder match victory look even more impressive.

A Ziggler win is perfect booking.

Prediction: Ziggler retains the Money in the Bank Briefcase

Breaking Down Team Hell No & Ryback vs. The Shield

With the tables, ladders and chairs stipulation involved, the matchup between The Shield—the first televised match for the trio of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns—and Team Hell No with Ryback is one of the best of 2012.

Instead of another CM Punk versus Ryback match that ends with a dirty finish, the WWE Universe will be treated to one of the most unique and spontaneous matches of all time.

As much as Ryback has yet to win a big match, he has looked as strong as anyone in WWE over the last three months. With Ryback taken out of the equation again, The Shield will get the much-needed win to solidly their place in the WWE.

This will be an amazing match.

Prediction: The Shield pins Daniel Bryan
