Tottenham failed to find a way to take advantage of the lead that they claimed at Goodison Park over the weekend. Everton continued to look dangerous throughout the entire night, and in the end, the Spurs' defense could not withstand the pressure.

Swansea City have been impressive so far this season. They have proven that there are indeed gems to be found in the faltering Spanish football economy. Low-budget signing Michu has exploded onto the English Premier League scene with rapturous consequences to any defensive unit hoping to keep him from scoring.

If Tottenham fail to keep a tight ship at the end of their match against Swansea and are holding on for a draw or victory, Michu could certainly hurt them. His brace in the dying minutes of the Swans' defeat of Arsenal at the Emirates should be enough to convince the North London club that White Hart Lane is not likely to rattle the players' determination.

Both sides will be impacted by the loss of key players for the upcoming match. Gareth Bale is day-to-day, but he is not likely to be risked as the club would not want to risk further aggravating his hamstring.

Swansea are without Leon Britton due to a new injury. The central midfielder has been huge for the club and has carried part of the load that was left behind following the departure of Joe Allen to Liverpool. Additionally, the club will most likely be without key summer acquisition Pablo Hernandez, whom also has a hamstring issue.

Scott Parker and Benoit Ausso-Ekotto are both believed to be nearing a return to fitness, but neither are likely to be ready for the weekend fixture.

It will be a tough test for both clubs as both suffered defeats this past weekend. Tottenham was more deserving of theirs than Swansea, and it will be interesting to see which side bounces back first.

Tottenham Projected Starting XI: Brad Freidel; Kyle Walker, William Gallas, Steven Caulker, Jan Vertonghen; Aaron Lennon, Sandro, Moussa Dembele, Clint Dempsey; Emmanuel Adebayor, Jermaine Defoe.

Swansea City Projected Starting XI: Gerhard Tremmel; Ben Davies, Chico, Ashley Williams, Angel Rangel; Jonathan de Guzman, Wayne Routledge, Ki Sung-Tueng, Nathan Dyer; Michu, Danny Graham.
