It’s good to be a mediocre baseball player, because some of them tend to become millionaires.

Welcome to the MLB offseason, a land where stars change uniforms and franchises clear their bank accounts for fairly ridiculous reasons. If you have tenuous claims to baseball superstardom, consider yourself a rich man.

Join MLB lead writer Zach Rymer and MLB contributor Gabe Zaldivar as they debate some of the worst free-agent signings so far.

Of course, the hot stove still burns and there are bound to be more horrible decisions made in the future. You will soon see, however, that there is plenty to debate in what has already been a wacky autumn.

Mediocre pitchers and inconsistent phenoms are just the tip of this overpaid iceberg.
