What do A.J. Green, Cam Newton and Von Miller all have in common? Yes, they were all rookies last year, and they all made the Pro Bowl as rookies.
The 2012 draft class will be known as the year of the quarterback. The book hasn't been written yet, but it's pretty clear that at least one of the rookie quarterbacks should make this year's Pro Bowl—perhaps even two or three.
The 2013 NFL draft may not have that kind of star power on offense. There's no Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III or Ryan Tannehill that'll be drafted early. Instead, there are names like Chance Warmack (OG), Taylor Lewan (OT) and Luke Joeckel (OT). These players should all be first-round draft picks.
On the defensive front, marquee names such as Manti Te'o (ILB), Barkevious Mingo (OLB) and Star Lotulelei (DE) should also get some first-round love.
Will any of these players make it to the Pro Bowl next year? Maybe.
The "First Father of the NFL," Archie Manning, gives us his three players from the 2013 NFL draft that he thinks will make it to Honolulu next year.
Archie knows a thing or two about the Pro Bowl. He made two during his career, and his sons (Peyton 11 times and Eli twice) are veterans of this honor.
Let us know in the comments below who you think will make it to the Pro Bowl next year.
