Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders: Preview and Predictions

After an inspired Week 13 win, the Kansas City Chiefs fell flat in Cleveland. Can they bounce back against the Oakland Raiders?

The Chiefs' (2-11) season has been one to forget. Matt Cassel is out and Brady Quinn is in at quarterback, and although the names have changed, the ineptitude remains the same. The offense has been overly conservative, while the defense has been simply bad. Despite 2012 being head coach Romeo Crennel's first full season as head coach, he might be joining GM Scott Pioli on the street if the Chiefs front office intends to clean house in the offseason.

Oakland (3-10) has not fared much better in its first year with Dennis Allen as head coach. Like the Chiefs, the Raiders were also expected to contend for the AFC West title, but poor play and injuries at running back took their toll. Quarterback Carson Palmer seemed quite content to throw deep in blowouts, accumulating "garbage time" production which benefits nobody except fantasy football owners.
