The San Diego Chargers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14 at Heinz Field, winning by a score of 34-24.

Ryan Mathews carried a heavy load for the Chargers, but he had trouble finding running lanes against the vaunted Steelers defense. Mathews finished the game with 65 yards on 25 carries, but his ability to keep taking hits while taking care of the football allowed the Chargers to run a semi-balanced offense.
The Chargers bottled up the Steelers' running game all day long, holding the Steelers to just 69 yards on the ground.
Ben Roethlisberger ended the game with 285 yards, throwing three touchdowns and one interception, but he had trouble getting the offense moving early in the game.
Mike Wallace erupted with seven catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns in the defeat.
The Chargers improved to 5-8 on the season and will host the Carolina Panthers in Week 15, while the Steelers fell to 7-6 and will travel to face the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday.
