Denver Broncos vs. Baltimore Ravens Preview and Predictions

Aaron Nagler@Aaron_NaglerNFL National Lead WriterDecember 9, 2012

The Denver Broncos are primed for a playoff run. The Baltimore Ravens are smarting after a brutal overtime loss to the Washington Redskins. Can the Ravens get back on track against the AFC West champs?

The thinking here is: no. The Broncos are as close to a complete team that the NFL has at the moment, while the Ravens are struggling to fill the holes that have popped up over the course of the season.

While Peyton Manning and his receivers have been on the same page, the Broncos running game seemed to come to life against the Oakland Raiders. You can expect that to continue against a Ravens team that has struggled against the run all year.

While Ray Lewis may make his return in this game, it won't make much difference against a Broncos offense that has taken advantage of slower, older linebackers all year—and yes, that's what Lewis looked like even before his injury.

In the video above we look at some of the biggest matchups in the game and give our predictions. Let us know in the comments below where you agree or disagree and who you think wins the game.
