The Minnesota Vikings held serve at home and beat the Chicago Bears by a score of 21-14 in Week 14.
Adrian Peterson (a guy who I've been told is pretty good) rushed for over 100 yards for the seventh straight game. He finished the game with 154 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries, which was a good thing, considering the poor play of his quarterback, Christian Ponder.
Ponder finished the game with 91 passing yards and one interception.
Jay Cutler didn't fare much better, throwing one touchdown and two interceptions, and he was forced to leave the game in the fourth quarter with a neck injury.
Jason Campbell stepped in and led a touchdown drive, but it was too little, too late for the Bears.
Brandon Marshall had a big game in defeat for the Bears, catching 10 passes for 160 yards and one touchdown, and rookie Alshon Jeffery pitched in with a touchdown catch of his own.
The Vikings improved to 7-6 on the season and will travel to face the St. Louis Rams in Week 15, while the Bears fell to 8-5 and will host the Green Bay Packers next Sunday.
