The Cleveland Browns beat the visiting Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 30-7 in Week 14.
Jamaal Charles opened the game with a monster 80-yard touchdown run to put the Chiefs up by seven, but that was the last time the Chiefs would score in the game. Charles finished the game with 165 yards on 18 carries.
Travis Benjamin put the Browns up for good on the first play of the second quarter when he returned a punt 93 yards for a touchdown.
Trent Richardson had trouble finding many open running lanes and only rushed for 42 yards on 18 carries, but his two touchdown runs busted the game wide open in favor of the home team.
Rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden put together an economical performance, passing for 217 yards on 30 attempts, while not throwing any touchdowns or interceptions.
Brady Quinn, on the other hand, had a rough outing for the Chiefs, throwing for just 159 yards with one interception and zero touchdowns.
The Browns won their third straight game, improving to 5-8 on the season, and will host the Washington Redskins in Week 15, while the Chiefs fell to 2-11 and will travel to face the Oakland Raiders next Sunday.
