You can call Adrian Peterson whatever you want, just know that the Minnesota Vikings and their fans think of him as "Playoff Savior".
The St Louis Rams are looking to put a stop to that and send the Vikings home not only with a loss, but with their playoff hopes just about shattered.
How can they stop Peterson though? We're talking about a guy who tops 150 yards at will and will break a long run off multiple times a game. Can the Rams stop him or will they just try and slow him down?
More importantly, will that be enough?
The Rams have to shut Peterson down because when he can't run, that puts the game in Christian Ponders' hands. When that happens, bad things often follow, especially when Janoris Jenkins and Cortland Finnegan are in your secondary.
Meanwhile, the Vikings will want to get after quarterback Sam Bradford early and often. Bradford doesn't always handle pressure really well, so if the Vikings' front seven can get into the backfield, they might force some turnovers,
How will this play out? Aaron Nagler, Josh Zerkle and I take a stab at figuring that out in this video.
