Geography was not the biggest allure to the Cleveland Indians manager's job for Terry Francona.
Having a strong desire to manage again after spending a year as an analyst with ESPN was the biggest factor. A close second was the fact that Francona believes the Indians, under the leadership of club president Mark Shapiro and general manager Chris Antonetti, can return to contending status again.
