Injured Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez and his sprained right foot took a step in the right direction towards returning, but an actual return date remains murky at this point.

The team announced on Saturday afternoon that the 7-footer did more agility and shooting with the team at practice and he reported no pain. However, he has been ruled out for Sunday’s home game against the Milwaukee Bucks and remains day-to-day.
