Official Result: Benson Henderson defeats Nate Diaz by Unanimous Decision. The judges scored the fight 50-43, 50-45, 50-45.

Round 5: Nate's right eye is almost completely shut. Henderson clinches again and drives to the cage. Short punches to the body for Henderson. Diaz is throwing small strikes to the head. Henderson just misses with a massive elbow. That would have ended the fight had it connected. Henderson lifts Diaz and drops him on his head. He's now just throwing big punches looking to finish this fight. Back to the feet and Henderson is on him. Diaz is threatening a kimura but Bendo won't relent. Henderson drags him to the ground but can't keep him there. Props to Diaz for fighting through. He had a chance to take top position but he's got nothing left. Henderson lands a head kick and then clinches up. Body work form Henderson as they break. Diaz is still taunting but Henderson isn't going to play that game. 10-9 Benson Henderson

Round 4: They clinch and Henderson again gets the takedown. He's just bodying Diaz at this point. Knees tot he body until Diaz stands but Henderson is on him like a backpack. And we're back to the mat. Diaz is back to his feet and Nate is threatening with a kimura but Henderson defends and ends back on top. Diaz gets back to his feet and oh, never mind, back to the mat. Henderson is throwing punches to the body while Diaz is threatening with a straight armbar. It's not happening. Henderson settles into half guard. Diaz taunting from the bottom. Round 3: Leg kick from Henderson and Nate is not moving well. Nate wildly swings but can't connect. They both connect at the same time but Henderson lands with more power. Takedown from Henderson and he's putting on the pressure. Nate gets back to his feet. Another kick from Henderson. Benson is standing over Diaz and landing elbows to the guts. Diaz going with Vale Tudo rules and kicking the knee cap. Nate has a leg but Benson seems fine. Diaz gives up his back and Hendrson has hooks in. Diaz looking for a calf slicer and then a toe hold but Henderson is just doing splits like James Brown. WHAT!? Both to their feet and Diaz gets dropped with a straight. I'm losing it guys! Round 2: They clinch almost immediately and Henderson hits a trip takedown. Diaz is turtled and Henderson is just landing punches from the top. Diaz back to his feet and Henderson lands a head kick. How Diaz is still awake is beyond me. They clinch up again. After some fighting for position they break. Diaz is having trouble finding his range. Diaz throws a lazy kick but Henderson is unphased. Henderson rocks Diaz with a hook and Diaz is on the mat. Henderson is looking for the finish with punches in bunches. Diaz survives and gets back to his feet. Diaz looks for the trip but can't get it. Diaz goes for the trip again and almost get it. Benson with more leg kicks and those are nasty. They clinch to close the round. 10-9 Benson Henderson

Round 1: Leg kick from Henderson. And another. Henderson misses a hook and Nate clinches up. They trade knees to the body and Henderson turns Nate into the fence. Diaz is landing knees to the thigh. A grinding fight as Henderson controls the clinch. Henderson is trying to get the fight to the mat but Diaz is doing a good job at staying standing. More knees to the thigh. This is definitely going to be a grind. Diaz escapes the clinch and lands an elbow on the break. Henderson hits a takedown but Nate gets back to his feet. Hip toss and Nate is on his back. Henderson picking his shots well and lands several punches. Benson kicks Diaz' legs out from under him. Two punch combo from Benson snaps Diaz' head back. Round 3: Shogun wildly charges forward but can't connect as Gustafsson circles out. Alex lands an uppercut and then a knee to the body. Shogun with an overhand to the head. Alex with another takedown and after a scramble he takes Shogun's back. They are back to their feet. Crowd still supporting the PRIDE legend. Brief exchange and then a clinch. They back out and Alex hits another takedown. He's definitely been training with that guy named Phil Davis. Alex stands and lands some kicks to the legs. Gustafsson is stalking Shogun. He hits a trip and then lands a knee to the head and an uppercut. Alex with a straight right down the pipe. Shogun looks like Rocky Dennis. Some of you will get that reference. Clinch against the cage and Tan Dan separates them. Shogun connects and the crowd reacts. The round ends with Alex hitting another takedown. 10-9 Alex Gustafsson.
Mauricio Rua vs Alex Gustafsson
Round 2: Quick exchange to open the round as Alex lands several tight hooks. Shogun responds with his own. Alex with a chopping leg kick and then knees to the body. Nice upper cut from Alex as Shogun comes in. Shogun lands a hook to the head. Shogun wildly throwing punches. Alex shoots a takedown but doesn't complete it. Clinched against the fence and they are fighting for position. Short punches from Alex. Shogun with those Pancrase open hand slaps. Referee break. Knee to the body from Alex. Shogun looks for a judo throw but can't get it. Shogun clinches and looks for that outside trip but Alex ends up on top. Alex stands and lands one punch before backing out completely. Shogun connects with a heavy hook but can't follow up. Alex hits another takedown. Those are going to drain Shogun of most of his energy. Shogun hits a halfguard sweep and gets to his feet. Clinched against the cage and Alex is back to throwing those short punches. Another takedown from Alex. He's mixing those martial arts well. Shogun stands and eats a ton of knees to the face. Shogun circles as the round comes to a close. 10-9 Alex Gustafsson.

Round 1: Shogun throws a wild kick to open the round. Alex resonds with punches. Shogun slips on a kick and Alex follows him to the ground with punches. Shogun grabs a leg and looks to have a pretty tight knee bar. Alex steps out and Shogun lands a knee to the head. Another leg lock attempt from Shogun. Alex hits a trop but steps back after Shogun threatens a submission. Shogun with his own takedown but Alex is back to his feet. Shogun's pace is crazy right now. Alex lands a combination that back's Shogun up. Nice uppercut from Alex as Shogun comes forward. Alex looks to have finally found his groove. Shogun is bleeding from the mouth. Crowd is in full support of the Brazilian. Alex changes levels with Shogun comes forward but can't get the takedown. Clinched against the cage. 10-9 Alex Gustafsson

Rory back to the clinch and he's making BJ carry his weight. Referee break and Rory lands to the body. Rory attempts a spinning hook kick to the head but slips. Rory clinches again and he's looking to just tire the legend out. Inside elbow from Rory connects. And a kick to the body. Superman punch from Rory. This is all him. I am sorry for doubting you Rory MacDonald. Inside hook lands for MacDonald. He's clowning Penn and the crowd does not approve. Rory clinches but there's no action. Double jab and head kick from Rory. Penn comes forward with a telegraphed overhand and Rory clinches to avoid damage. A hook from Rory rocks Penn. Round 2: Rory goes high with another kick but it misses its mark. Fans are definitely in support of BJ Penn. BJ clips Rory with a hook. Rory responds with a straight. And more jabs. Rory opens up with a combination but Penn does well to cover up. Another combination. This is crazy. Rory misses on a hook but lands a front kick. And a kick to the body. Rory connects again. And BJ lands a bomb! These guys are really getting after it. Rory lands a hook to the body and Penn is hurt. BJ is just covering up. BJ is bleeding too. Rory is unleashing on him. BJ lands a counter hook. It's nice to see but it's one sided. More body work from Rory. He knows that it's just a matter of time. Penn's face is a mess! Low kicks from Rory. He's mixing up his attacks well. Hooks to the body against form MacDonald. BJ's pace has slowed to a crawl. Rory gets a leg and hits a takedown. Penn gave up on that one. Round 1: BJ punches his way inside and clinches up. Rory turns him into the fence and lands an inside elbow. They break the clinch and Penn lands a straight. More clinching against the cage before they break. Leg kick from Rory. Another hard leg kick from MacDonald. And a head kick. Penn responds with a straight that backs Rory up. Penn's nose is already red. Hook from Penn as Rory comes forward. Nice combination fro Penn. Penn sticks him with a jab. Penn lands a hook to the chin and MacDonald responds with a leg kick. Penn clinches and is working to get the fight to the ground. Elbow from MacDonald on the break. Nice uppercut to the body from Rory. Rory attempts a takedown and Penn defends it. BJ is rocked! Official Result: Matt Brown defeats Mike Swick by knockout. The stoppage came at 2:31 in the second round.

Round 2: Brown is the aggressor in the second as he walks Swick down. Neither fighter has landed anything cleanly. They clinch against the cage and trade knees to the body. Swick gets a thai clinch and lands several knees to the head. Brown escapes and lands an inside elbow. Swick misses a wild punch and Brown lands two counter punches in succession that puts Mike Swick to sleep. That was crazy. Swick's always had an impressive chin. Matt Brown just had a star making knockout.

Round 1: Brown is the first to truly commit as he comes forward with a hook. It doesn't land cleanly. Lazy shot from Swick. What was that? Awful. Brown land a straight and then hits a single and scores the takedown. Brown working from half guard and for a choke. It looks pretty tight. Interesting variation of a guillotine. Swick is staying calm and pops his head out. Swick throwing short punches from the top and steps over to half guard. Brown throws his legs up and has a triangle. Swick is defending well and doing what he has to do but it's tight. Weird positioning as they're both threatening submissions. Brown loses the tirangle but he regains it. Swick again escapes and works to lock up a guillotine. Back to their feet and they trade punches against the fence. The round ends. 10-9 Matt Brown

Round 1: Stephens throws a flying knee to open the fight. It misses. He connects on the followup leg kick. Yves throws a kick but is tripped to the mat. He's back up and looks for a single leg. He gives it up and they are finally setting into a slower pace. Kinda. Stephens is throwing everything with bad intentions. Yves drops Stephens with a hook and then throws elbows until he's out. The ref didn't stop the fight so when Stephens recovers Edwards puts him to sleep again. Kinda makes sense since this is the second time they were supposed to fight.

Round 3: Okay the action picks up at the start of the third. Easton throwing straight kicks to Assuncao's knee. Easton walks Assuncao down and Raphael times it perfectly to throw a body kick. It's blocked but it was definitely audible. The crowd is pretty loud with their boos. Assuncao clinches up and gets a takedown but Easton pops back to his feet. More clinching and nothing is going on. More boos from the audience. They're throwing punches but it just seems like nothing is landing. Kind of like a live sparring session. Assuncao looking for that single leg but Easton's not giving it up. Body kick from Assuncao. Easton hits a takedown but can't keep Assuncao grounded. That's it. 10-9 Raphael Assuncao?

Round 2: A lot of leg kicks to open the second round. It's Easton who is the first who really commits and comes forward with punches. More kicking and then they separate. Easton connects with a hook that staggers Assuncao. Assuncao recovers well and lands a nice inside leg kick. Easton is wincing a bit after an exchange. Looks like maybe an eye poke? Spinning hook kick from Assuncao misses its target. Easton connects with a hook after they throw inside the pocket. Assuncao clinches up and throws knees to the thighs. There's a break in the action as one of those knees connected to the groin. Easton is taking his time to recover. He's trying to get his wind back. Weird that the ref is allowing Easton to get corning advice. Action continues and Easton looks mad. They are back to throwing everything with power but Easton's timing looks off. Assuncao throws a spinning back fist and Easton ducks. 10-9 Raphael Assuncao.

Another spinning back kick from Easton. Yep, definitely throwing spinning $%(& tonight. Nice quick jab from Assuncao. Easton lands to the body and Assuncao responds to the head. Easton's defense is very tight tonight. He's landing but nothing with a ton of power. Assuncao is the first to look for the takedown but Easton defends well.
