Butch Jones wasn't on the "A-list" for Tennessee during its search for Derek Dooley's successor, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a bad hire for the Vols.

Jones was 23-14 at Cincinnati, has won 19 games over the last two seasons and is a proven winner as a head coach with the Bearcats and at Central Michigan.

But since he was far down on Tennessee's list, Vol Nation isn't thrilled with the news.

How does this hire grade? SEC lead writer Barrett Sallee grades it in this edition of "The Program."
