The Thursday, Dec. 6 edition of TNA Impact! Wrestling opened with a video package recapping the show's recent events.

Bobby Roode, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian make their way to the ring at the start of the show. Kazarian takes the microphone first, making reference to the Fortune heel group fraction. He says that the future will only result in victory.  After passing the microphone off to Roode, the former World Heavyweight Champion spoke about how he will regain the title. Daniels then calls out AJ Styles to the ring.

Styles comes out to the ring. Daniels tells Styles that on his best day, he could not beat him. Daniels begins to make reference to all of Styles' losses in the past several months. Styles attempts to attack Daniels but is quickly brought down by Roode and Kazarian. Jeff Hardy and James Storm arrive to the ring to make the save.

Backstage, Austin Aries reveals that he used Brooke Hogan and Bully Ray to gain revenge on Hulk Hogan.

Devon vs. Samoa Joe for the TNA Television Championship.

Your winner via pinfall: Devon. This should not come as a shock to viewers, as the title switch gives Aces and Eights some leverage and turns Devon into a serious competitor with a belt around his waist. A decent opening match with an expected outcome.

Match Rating: 3/5.

Mickie James comes out to the ring and thanks everyone for their support. Tara and Jesse suddenly come out to the ring to confront James. However, in a shocking return, Velvet Sky makes her way to the ring. Sky is greeted by the crowd with cheers and chants welcoming her back to TNA. Sky says 2013 will be a monumental year for her, as she plans to capture the TNA Knockouts title.

Robbie E and Robbie T vs. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez.

Your winners via pinfall: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez. A pretty basic match that gave Hernandez and Guerrero the upper hand on this one. Nothing spectacular about this tag team match.

Match Rating: 2.5/5.

After the match, Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan take out both Guerrero and Hernandez in the ring.

Kurt Angle vs. D.O.C.

No contest match. As Angle was going for the Angle Lock, members of Aces and Eights stormed to the ring. However, Wes Brisco, Garett Bischoff and Joe ran to the ring to make the save. Angle then challenged the Aces and Eights to an eight-man match at the Final Resolution pay-per-view.

Kenny King vs. Kid Kash vs. Zema Ion in a No. 1 contender's match for the X-Division Championship.

Your winner via pinfall: Kenny King. An impressive X-Division match with so much action in and outside the ring. An enjoyable match to watch.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

Bully Ray angrily marches forward to the ring. He says he will not leave the ring until his demands are met. Ray opens up a chair and sits down in the middle of the ring. Aries interrupts Ray and comes to the ring with a chair in hand. Aries opens up his chair, sits down by ringside and says he will take over the show.

Just a few seconds after Aries sits down, Hulk Hogan arrives and walks his way to the ring. Hogan tells Ray to get up from his chair and leave the ring. Hogan's daughter, Brooke, comes out to the ring and tells her father he is making things too personal. Hogan then accepts the Ray vs. Aries match at Final Resolution.
