He's known as the first father of the NFL. Most people now know him as Peyton and Eli's dad. But Archie Manning was a great quarterback back in the day. In 1971, Archie was the second overall pick by the New Orleans Saints.

Archie and his two sons run the Manning Passing Academy for aspiring quarterbacks. Over the years, it's been a who's who of NFL quarterbacks in attendance.

This past year, draft prospects such as Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson and Collin Klein were there.

It's safe to say that Archie Manning knows quarterbacks. Check out the video above, in which the Manning patriarch ranks the quarterbacks in the 2013 draft class and also throws in some junior QBs for good measure.

Archie Manning was in New York recently announcing the finalists for the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year award, which honors excellence both on and off the field. Fans can vote until Dec. 20 at www.coachoftheyear.com. The winner will be announced Jan. 7 prior to the BCS National Championship Game.
