Time to clear out some more space in the Notre Dame trophy case.

Tyler Eifert, who led the team with 44 receptions for 624 yards and four touchdowns, was honored Wednesday with the John Mackey Award, which is given to the tight end who best exemplifies the play, sportsmanship, academics and community values of NFL Hall of Fame tight end John Mackey.
