What makes an athletic director happier than having a winning football team? Having a winning football team and not having to pay through the nose for it.

Take the poor Kansas Jayhawks. They're not really poor, but they will be if their football team keeps going like this. Under coach Charlie Weis, the Jayhawks won one game, which comes to $2.5 million per win, according to USA Today.
