The Bengals placed rookie wide receiver Mohamed Sanu on Injured Reserve on Tuesday and activated rookie running back Dan Herron from the practice squad.
Sanu suffered a stress fracture in his left foot Thursday and had surgery Monday, ending his season with 16 catches for 154 yards and four touchdowns.
