Heading into its Champions League clash with CFR Cluj, Manchester United has already assured that it will advance past the group stage.

But Sir Alex Ferguson knows that the club needs to start building some momentum after some rough patches.

In United's last Champions League match it lost to Galatasaray, 1-0. The squad is also coming off a narrow 4-3 victory over Reading in Premier League play.

CFR Cluj has the potential to cause some problems for United. The club beat Braga on Nov. 20 by a score of 3-1 and played United close on Oct. 2.

Here's a look at what to watch for in this Champions League rematch.

Where: Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England

When: Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 2:45 p.m. ET

TV: Fox Soccer, ITV 1

United dominated CFR Cluj in time of possession on Oct. 2, but it still ended up being a close match given the club wasn't able to capitalize on its opportunities.

The Red Devils registered 13 shots, including six on target, but were only able to come away with a 2-1 victory, both goals coming courtesy of Robin van Persie.

There should be more opportunities for United to score at Old Trafford, but it is what the squad does with them that will matter. This is an opponent who battled Galatasaray to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 23 before losing 3-1 in the rematch on Nov. 7. CFR Cluj has the potential to make this a low-scoring match.

United has to make sure it comes ready to play from the get-go. The club conceded three goals by the 23rd minute against Reading, with Rafael and Jonny Evans having horrible games.

Of course, Van Persie and Wayne Rooney seem to always come ready to play. The two veterans combined for three goals against Reading, including two by Rooney. If the United defense doesn't show up on the pitch, Rooney and Van Persie always have the potential to lead United to victory anyway.

United should come away with the win, especially at home, but Ferguson knows the team has some improvements to make moving forward.
